Remembering 9/11

Come together with the Pace Community to remember, reflect, and honor those we lost at events being held on both campuses:
Sixteen years ago, the tragic events of 9/11 were not only felt around the world, but also at our University, located just blocks away from the World Trade Center—where our nation and our community were forever changed within a matter of hours. The Pace Community heavily mourned the loss of 47 members, and was closed for several weeks as the city and the country worked toward a brighter tomorrow.

Take Action Table
Monday, September 11 | 12:10 p.m.–1:10 p.m.
Volunteer New York! and The Center for Community Action and Research are hosting a Take Action Table for 9/11 Day of Service. Join CCAR in writing thank you messages attached to lollipops—which will be sent to first-responders to provide a small act of gratitude for their fearlessness and heroism.
9/11 Candlelight Vigil
Monday, September 11 | 9:00 p.m. | Kessel Café
Join together with the PLV Community for the annual candlelight vigil to honor those who we lost on September 11, and to partake that is the continued resiliency in the fight against evil and destruction.

Monday, September 11| 12:00 p.m. | Meet at 33 Beekman
The September 11 Memorial, museum, and the stunning new One World Trade showcase a downtown Manhattan that has been through its share of adversity and tragedy and emerged stronger than ever. Meet at 33 Beekman for a trip to the memorial site, and to remember those who gave their lives on one of the darkest days in our nation’s history.
