City Of Artists

From an old Hollywood classic to modern original works, PPA is putting a spin on some seriously stellar performances all throughout December. You won’t want to miss it!
There’s always something for everyone when it comes to Pace Performing Arts shows, and these two productions offer an array of awe-inspiring artistry (say that five times fast). If you’ll be on the NYC Campus this December, be sure to stop by the Schaeberle Studio Theater!
City of Angels
Saturday, December 2 through Sunday, December 10
2:00 p.m. matinee, 7:30 p.m. evening performances
Schaeberle Studio Theater, 41 Park Row
How about a double feature? That’s what you’ll get when you see City of Angels—a chance to experience the writing process of a 1940s Hollywood screenplay with the enactment of that very work. Performers will tread the line between fantasy and fiction by wearing black and white to denote the old Hollywood feel, only to plunge right back into full Technicolor when the production process resumes. This is perhaps one of the most unique theatrical experiences in history, and City of Angels even boasts two—yes, two!—musical scores. We won’t spoil anything else about the plot, but you’re sure to leave the theater with a feel-good spring in your step.
The show was directed and choreographed by Sara Brains, and music direction led by Randi Rudolph. Please purchase tickets to City of Angels!
Pace Devised Theater Festival
Thursday, December 14 through Saturday, December 16

Every year, graduating seniors from Pace’s International Performance Ensemble invite audiences to enjoy a presentation of their devised pieces. This is an extremely well-attended event, one chock-full of diverse performances across a wide range of disciplines. You’ll be getting an education in acting as much as quality entertainment! Please purchase tickets to the Pace Devised Theater Festival!
