Athletics Roundup: Fall 2018 (PLV)
Can’t get enough of Pace Athletics? Neither can we. Keep your eye on their next big events: Setters Madness (Tuesday, October 30), Pace Goes Pink (Friday, November 2), and more!
Men’s and Women’s Basketball Kickoff
Tuesday, October 30 | 9:15 p.m. | Goldstein Fitness Center
Cheer and dance performances. Co-ed scrimmage. Half-court shot contest. Cash prize. Free food. Are you ready for Setters Madness? This is a hugely popular event, so get there early!
Pace Goes Pink
Swimming and Diving vs. Adelphi University
Friday, November 2 | 5:00 p.m. | Goldstein Fitness Center
It’s time to go paw to paw with Adelphi. Don’t forget about Pace Goes Pink, either—all proceeds from t-shirt sales will be donated to benefit the Breast Institute at Northern Westchester Hospital.
Volleyball vs. Bentley University
Friday, November 2 | 7:00 p.m. | Goldstein Fitness Center
One does not simply hawk into this game. Be there when our Setters dodge Bentley’s talons—and watch the feathers fly!
Football vs. Merrimack College
Saturday, November 3 | 12:00 p.m. | Pace Stadium
You battle believe this game will be a fierce one. It’s also Senior Day, which means the first 500 fans in attendance get a free T-Bone bobblehead collectable (and it’s actually pretty cute).
Volleyball vs. Stonehill College
Saturday, November 3 | 1:00 p.m. | Goldstein Fitness Center
It’s a bird, it’s a plane—it’s Stonehill swooping in, and our Setters are ready to take on those talons. Be there for all the action!
Field Hockey vs. Merrimack College
Saturday, November 3 | 4:00 p.m. | Peter X. Finnerty Field
You won’t need knight vision glasses to catch this game. It’s Setters vs. the Merrimack Knights, so grab your squire and hit the field.
