It is important that you meet with your advisor before Orientation so that you can select and register for courses and take the online placement tests if needed. Consult with your advisor about which placement tests you need to take. Please complete your placement test prior to your orientation session so that you can register for classes.

Step 3: Submit the following official documents to the Office of Undergraduate Admission, prior to attending your orientation session and registering for classes, and no later than January 15, 2020:

What to Expect at Orientation

Orientation is designed to give you an introduction to the University and prepare you for your first semester of classes. You will have the opportunity to meet future classmates, faculty and staff, and learn about campus life, internship opportunities, study abroad, and more!

Families and guests wishing to attend should be included when the student registers for Orientation online. Please note the family orientation program is a separate program that runs concurrently so you will not be with your Pace University students during the program.

International Students Holding an F-1 Visa

In addition to attending an Orientation session on January 23, all new international students on an F-1 visa who are first-time students to Pace University must also attend the Mandatory New International Undergraduate Student Orientation Session as required by U.S. federal regulations on Thursday, January 23 at the Kessel Student Center from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. This session will focus on immigration regulations pertaining to international students on F-1 visa, visa applicable benefits, and restrictions.

If you have any questions about the International Student Orientation, please contact the Office of International Students and Scholars Office at or (212) 346-1368.
