Welcome to Pace.

We are excited that you will be joining our Pace community for the spring 2019 semester. Orientation is designed to give you an introduction to the University and prepare you for your first semester of classes. You will have an opportunity to meet future classmates; speak with advisors; register for classes; tour the campus; and learn about campus activities, internship opportunities, study abroad, and more at the Pace Fair.

Orientation dates for the Spring 2019 semester are: 

  • Tuesday, January 15, 2019
  • ​Wednesday, January 23, 2019

Orientation sessions will be held from 9:30 a.m - 5:00 p.m. Check-in at the front entrance of One Pace Plaza. View directions to campus.


Orientation Checklist

Step 1: ​Sign up for one of our required Orientation programs taking place in January. Families and guests wishing to attend should be included when you register for Orientation online.

Step 2: ​Fill out the student questionnaire so your academic advisor can develop your spring schedule prior to your arrival to Orientation. Please submit your questionnaire at least ten days before your Orientation date.

Step 3: ​If required, take the online placement test(s) in writing and math. You will be notified by the Office of Undergraduate Admission if you need to take any of these tests. Visit the placement testing web page immediately after registering for Orientation.

Step 4: Submit your photo for your Pace ID card.

Step 5: Access your Pace email account and check it regularly.


International Students Holding an F-1 Visa

In addition to attending an Orientation session on either January 15 or January 23, all new international students on an F-1 visa who are first-time students to Pace University must also attend the Mandatory New International Undergraduate Student Orientation Session as required by U.S. federal regulations on Tuesday, January 22 in the Bianco Room at One Pace Plaza from 1:00 - 4:30 p.m. Check-in begins at 12:30 p.m. This session will focus on immigration regulations pertaining to international students on F-1 visa, visa applicable benefits, and restrictions.
