Solar Eclipse 2017 (PLV)

Join Pace University President Marvin Krislov and the Pace Community for a special Eclipse event with Pace professors and astronomy experts from the Westchester Community.

The Great American Total Solar Eclipse will darken skies all the way from Oregon to South Carolina along a stretch of land about 70 miles wide. Although the Northeast is not in the"totality zone," the eclipse will be partially visible here.

Adjunct Professor of Computer Science and Astronomy Matt Ganis, PhD, and Westchester astronomers will be on hand at this viewing party to explain the phenomenon. Pace University President Marvin Krislov will also offer a welcome to members of the Westchester community.

Please use Entrance 2 to access the Alumni Hall quad. Additional parking is available behind Miller Hall.

A solar telescope and solar eclipse viewing glasses will be available for use. Refreshments will be served.
